Default Bones & permit in mexico

Going to Ascension Bay, Mexico in Nov. to fish for bones and permit. Any suggestions for fly patterns for both these fish in this area. Thanks

Every area can be a little different, but here is a link fro this forum that discusses various flies patterns for both species. I have not fished Ascension, so I hope this helps somewhat.

I fished ascension bay last year on a 1 day trip. lots of bones all small. had a few shots at permit but didn't connect. If you have no wind a 6 weight will do. It was a little breezy the day I was there so I used a 7 weight and landed 13 bones. As far as flies go any thing that is tan will work.
