This trip was out of Blackpoint. We headed south east and the weather was nice, with a soft Southwest to west wind, that later picked up a bit. We got to spot number one and the current was nice, I put out the chum and Frank and Hiram started to get into action one was going for the bottom bite and the other was going for the tails. It was a bit slow on the Yellowtail fishing we must of caught 8 tails at most and one mack a few blue runners and a few triggers, but the bottom bite was good we released 3 black groupers and one red grouper and caught a nice mangrove and a mutton in this spot alone, then we moved to another spot 12 miles away and did some more deep water fishing and there they released another black and got two keepers and lost a few monsters to the corals. the current was ideal for heavy lead and good fishing, and these guys had a blast, after all the action, right before a front the fish eat good.
