BBGC UPDATE:
Friday 02/19/10,,,, Flew over with a plane load of land planners, landscape pro's, engineers, electricians, architects and yes I guess I'm the chum professional. We did a 1 day blitz through all aspects of the property and glad to say the general condition is much better than I would have expected. The Guy Harvey Outpost team is shooting for a mid April opening, and they're not wasting any time. Their goal is to get open and then implement full renovation over the winter. Great to see some familiar Biminite faces and I was amazed at the enthusiasm the locals have towards the re-opening of the BBGC. I can tell you with certainty Mark Ellert, Chris Pollack and their team is on this project with a gloves off attitude. As I walked the empty docks I couldn't help but remember great times I've had there and listening to their new plans I know there will be many more awesome weekends right around the corner.
