I'm very excited to tell you that the Get Kids Fishing Foundation, USA has come a long way in two months. Not on only have we incorporated as a Georgia state recognized non-profit organization and have our federal tax ID number but this week the application for the IRS non-profit status will be put in the mail (all 16 pages of it!). Say your prayers and keep your fingers crossed that all my T's are crossed and I's are dotted.
Not too many people have heard about us yet so we are comfortable in spending '09 just getting the Get Kids Fishing Foundation, USA brand out there. Our website
www.getkidsfishing.org will be up and running January 7, 2010. A good data base of volenteers will be very important to the success of all future events. So, please join our cause today and pass this link to all your friends who may be interested in volunteering.

Our goal is to have over 50 states and 1,000 interested folks on board before the first event of 2010. We can do it!
2010 will be an exciting year for the Get Kids Fishing Foundation, USA. We have 6-8 group (50+) kids events, 25 one-on-one events (critically ill and disabled), and 6-8 fundraisers all tentatively scheduled in Georgia, Florida, Virginia and South Carolina. Not bad for a start up non profit. The great thing about this aggressive schedule is 2011 all those numbers will double. The Get Kids Fishing Foundation, USA has a goal of be in 50 states in 50 months. All this adds up to hundreds and thousands happy children across this wonderful nation. So, please help us make this a great success. Without kind people like you these children will have no hope of experiencing the joy of fishing and learning about the great outdoors! Please help in changing a child's life!
